How can we help?

Answers for companies choosing an ERP and for our clients who already run one.

Getting started

What an ERP is and whether your company is ready for one.

  • What is an ERP?An ERP (enterprise resource planning system) is one piece of software that runs the core of your company: sales, purchasing, stock, point of sale, invoicing and accounting, all sharing one database. Enter something once and every department sees it.
  • Is my company ready for an ERP?You are probably ready if you hold stock, more than one person sends invoices, or you type the same numbers into two places. Company size matters less than how much time you lose to double work and searching for information.

Choosing a system

Odoo and ERPNext compared for Aruban companies.

  • Odoo or ERPNextOdoo fits most Aruban companies on price and scope, so it is where we start. ERPNext suits companies that want no licence fees or very custom workflows.
  • Which Odoo plan do I need?Odoo has three plans: One App Free, Standard and Custom. Most of our clients need Custom, because it is the plan that allows connections to other systems, custom modules and Odoo Studio.
  • Hosting for ERPNextERPNext has no licence fees, but it needs a server. With hosting for ERPNext we arrange that server and look after it, for a monthly fee on top of the monthly plan.

Aruba setup

Turnover tax, currencies and imports in your ERP.

  • Aruba turnover tax in your ERPAruba has no VAT. It levies three turnover taxes on the same base: BBO 2.5%, BAVP 1.5% and BAZV 3%, together 7%. We set your ERP up so domestic invoices show tax-inclusive prices and a monthly report supports your return.
  • Florins, dollars and import costsWe set your company currency to the Aruban florin (AWG) and add US dollars and euros for customers, suppliers and bank accounts. Import costs such as freight and duties are added to the cost price of your stock, so your margins are real.
  • Payroll and your ERPAruban payroll runs best in a payroll package made for Aruba, such as Payroll Pro HRM. We set it up for your company and link it to your ERP, so each month's payroll lands in your books as one entry instead of being typed over.

Projects and support

How a project runs, how to prepare and how to get help.

  • What we offerWe set up your system at a fixed price and train your team. Then a monthly plan, sized to your company, keeps it live, updated and secure. We start from Odoo and also work with ERPNext when it fits better.
  • How a project runsA project has five steps: free intake, process scan, build, migration and training, then go-live with aftercare. A focused setup for one location usually takes four to eight weeks from the scan to go-live.
  • Preparing your dataWe move your products, customers, suppliers, opening balances and open invoices into the new system. You do not need perfect files: send what you have, and we clean it up with you.
  • Getting support as a clientClients on the monthly plan can ask questions and request changes through the support channel named in their agreement. Check this wiki first: many everyday questions are answered here.
  • What the monthly plan coversEvery system we set up comes with a monthly plan. It keeps your system live, updated and secure, and includes support hours for your team's questions and small changes, for one fixed amount a month. The amount follows how complex your setup is, so a small shop with a few users and a simple setup pays less than a distributor with three warehouses.
  • How training worksEvery implementation includes training for each team before go-live. Later training, for new staff, a refresher or a new app, is quoted per session.

Security and data

How we protect your data and your access.

  • How we handle your dataYour ERP database and licences belong to your company. We access them only with named accounts and two-factor sign-in, and only while we work for you.
