Aruba turnover tax in your ERP

Version 1.1.0, updated 31 October 2026

Aruba has no VAT. It levies three turnover taxes on the same base: BBO 2.5%, BAVP 1.5% and BAZV 3%, together 7%. We set your ERP up so domestic invoices show tax-inclusive prices and a monthly report supports your return.

How we configure it

  • One combined 7% tax, or three linked taxes, depending on what your accountant prefers for the return.
  • Domestic invoices show the tax-inclusive price. The separate taxes are not listed as lines on the customer invoice.
  • A monthly turnover report per tax, ready before the filing deadline, which is normally the 15th of the following month.
  • Imports: the tax paid on imported trade goods is tracked so it can be credited.

When the rules change

Aruba has discussed replacing these taxes with a VAT system for several years. If that happens, your tax setup and invoice layout change. Clients on a support plan get that update as part of the plan.
