Florins, dollars and import costs

Version 1.0.0, updated 31 October 2026

We set your company currency to the Aruban florin (AWG) and add US dollars and euros for customers, suppliers and bank accounts. Import costs such as freight and duties are added to the cost price of your stock, so your margins are real.

Currencies

  • Prices can be shown in florins and dollars at the till.
  • Supplier invoices in dollars or euros are converted at the rate of the invoice date.
  • Bank accounts in foreign currency are revalued at month-end if your accountant wants it.

Import costs

When a container arrives, the costs on top of the supplier invoice (freight, insurance, customs duties, import tax, local transport) are spread over the products in it. You choose how: by value, weight, volume or quantity.
